Can I Use Medisave for Dentures?

Conventional removable dentures (acrylic, cobalt chrome, flexible) are not claimable under Medisave.

If you are considering implant-supported dentures, Medisave can be used toward the dental implant procedure component, subject to eligibility and Medisave withdrawal limits. This is a separate treatment pathway from conventional dentures.

If you want to understand whether implant-supported dentures are suitable for your situation, your dentist at Casa Dental can walk through both options at your first consultation.

What Else Affects Your Total Cost?

  • Preparatory extractions If you have remaining teeth that need to be removed before the denture is fitted, extraction costs apply separately. Simple extractions start from $80. Your dentist will include this in your written quote.
  • Number of visits Getting a denture typically takes three to five appointments over two to four weeks. Each visit is short. The consumables charge of $5 applies per visit.
  • Relining and repairs Over time, your gums and jawbone change shape and a denture that once fitted well may gradually become loose. Relining — where material is added to the inside of the denture to restore the fit — is less costly than making a new denture. CHAS subsidies can apply to relines and repairs, up to an annual limit. Ask our team for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a denture cost in Singapore at Casa Dental?

Partial dentures start from $381.50 for an acrylic base, inclusive of GST. Full dentures start from $763 per arch. The final cost depends on the material, number of teeth being replaced, and whether any preparatory work such as extractions is needed beforehand. Your dentist will provide a written quote before treatment begins.

Is Casa Dental CHAS-accredited?

Yes. Casa Dental is CHAS-accredited at all 9 branches across Singapore. If you hold a CHAS, Pioneer Generation, or Merdeka Generation card, you may be eligible for subsidies on your denture treatment. Our front desk team will confirm what applies to your card tier before your appointment.

Can I use Medisave for dentures?

Conventional removable dentures are not claimable under Medisave. If you are considering implant-supported dentures, the implant procedure component may be Medisave-claimable, subject to eligibility. Your dentist can explain both options at your first consultation.

How often can I claim CHAS subsidy for a denture?

CHAS subsidies cover one upper and one lower denture every three years. Separate annual limits apply for denture relines and repairs. Our front desk team will check your claim history and confirm what is available before your appointment.

What documents should I bring for my CHAS subsidy claim?

Bring your CHAS card and your NRIC. If you hold a Pioneer Generation or Merdeka Generation card, bring that as well. Our front desk team will handle the paperwork on your behalf. If you are unsure what to prepare, call us before your appointment and we will walk you through it.

Can I get dentures at any of the 9 Casa Dental branches?

Yes. Denture consultations and fittings are available at all 9 Casa Dental branches. When you call to book, let us know which location is most convenient and we will arrange your appointment there.

What if my denture becomes loose over time?

A loose denture usually means your gum and bone shape has changed over time. Bring the denture in for assessment rather than relying on adhesive as a long-term fix. In many cases, relining can restore the fit without remaking the whole denture. CHAS subsidies may apply to the reline. Call your nearest branch to arrange a review.
